We discussed exempt vs non-exempt, properly categorizing workers as employees or independent contractors and the differences, tips on setting up a business when hiring employees for the first time, and much more.

What I enjoyed most about collaborating for the podcast was the openness to share knowledge and best practices. I’m a firm believer that when others win, we all win. Very little in running HR is a “secret” and we can serve others by sharing our knowledge and best tips.

I’m hopeful that this site and others similar to it fulfill that.
